You're confused.

The 'morning after' pill does not end PREGNANCY - since pregnancy begins when a fertilized egg attaches itself to the uterine wall, and the morning after pill works by keeping the already-fertilized egg from doing that.

However, since life begins at conception, and the primary reproductive definition of conception is 'fertilization,' the 'morning after' pill does indeed snuff out a life.

BTW, the *secondary* definition of conception is 'inception of pregnancy.' Too bad - you missed it by THAT much!
