bim, your question was, "why can't we file in germany as well?"

I answered that I believe that we can.

I only posted the articles to show that IDCC has had some success there in the past.

Of course times are different now, but there must be a reason that IDCC has chosen not to go after these companies in other countries. The ITC is slow and the CAFC is slow, but it appears that their lawyers feel that the ITC is the place to go for international rulings.

they may have ruled on that/those 2g patents, but those were different times and different financials for the desperate company.

I'm talking about the current 3g patents and injunctions and using the current balance sheet. Of course, that's what they tried to do with the ITC and hopefully justice will prevail in the cafc one of these days.

i would have loved for them to initiate action in Germany about 6 months ago.
