I still get a kick out of folks that think Charles Koch is evil and people like Soros are saints.
A couple of billionaires with nearly opposite views on how things should be. Just like a few million Americans that find themselves way over on the left or right. Imagine that. Gosh, two rich guys with opposing views. One evil, one heavinly.
One's opinion of them probably aligns pretty well with whether they prefer, say, Chuck Schumer or Kay Bailey Hutchison.
At least the Kochs got rich (and provide some 50K jobs) by providing products that Americans use, not by trading currency and other financial "products". Which of the two guys (Soros and Koch) would you classify as being more of a "Wall Street" type?
I'm no big fan/defender of Charles Koch (nor do I dislike him), but once again I find myself having to post to folks that seem to think he is pure evil. That's just ridiculous. I've watched for a few decades as he took over his father's company and grew it I don't even know how many thousands percent. I sure don't detest that as much as I do the Wall Street Scumbags.
(And I know a LOT of folks that work for him. All very decent folks, and most of them give far more to worthy causes than the average American. Not bad for associates of the devil himself.)
