Appreciate the compliment CF, but I didn't get "sucked" in. To the contrary, I immediately upchucked (#218287) after reading Jermart's post. Why? Because of the family's history and because if there was in fact improbity (dishonesty) what it could do my investment's potential. The girl had absolutely nothing to do with my reaction, and wish her no harm. She was extraneous to my issue. This family feels entitled, they simply never seem to give much, if any, consideration to how their decisions may impact others. This is typical. I hope it's above board, but if it isn't, this thing could cause significant harm to the girl and some to Wave and it's shareholders. There certainly is an "appearance" of impropriety. This all could have been done causing no potential harm if Wave/SKS had 'crossed their "t"s and dotted their "i"s.' It's just stupid to allow this type of thing to occur, totally unnecessary. It's one more example of why I think SKS is a poor manager. So, we differ - likely viewing from different angles, thus different images.

Hi tkc,

There is no appearance of impropriety that I can see. Just a person with two jobs: my guess is that Sprague's wife asked her husband to give an entry level job to a bright young local lady and he said yes. Nothing wrong with that. No one has provided evidence that she's a Sprague relative or that she has a sweetheart deal. Hence there's no evidence of impropriety or of a conflict.

You are a wiser person than to be sucked in by the partial presentation of innocent facts as if they are something more than they are. There's nothing here but nastiness and insinuation.

Spragues are fair game. But a young person getting a break is not.
