re: "Go in have it done, rest for the night in the hospital, go home the next day..."

If a valve repair ever has to be done, maybe. Valve replacement is probably a bigger job than valve repair... and the more likely type of surgery for the problem I have.

On the brighter side, It is only PROBABILITY that favors my needing surgery one day. I might be one of the lucky 20% or so who never need it.

Gold is $1,581/oz today. When it hits $2,000, it will be up 26.5%. Let's see how long that takes. - De 3/11/2013 - ANSWER: 7 Years, 5 Months

WOW the things they can do now. He just called and he was awake the whole time. They went into an artery in his crotch and pushed a balloon up to the blockage by his heart, then slide a stint up into the blockage and let the balloon out and stint in place. He sounds a little drugged up but a DAY surgery now???????????? Amazing..

And DE if you start feeling pains in your chest, that you can't explain, have them looked at. My friend was talking about these new pains for a couple weeks. Go in have it done, rest for the night in the hospital, go home the next day..........I hope you and I both die exhausted from having too much fun and doing what we love!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not some plumbing issue........
