Decency has gone out of society. And it started with politics and religion. Where it used to be you didn't talk about those in public because people have strong emotional feelings about it and there's always the possibility for conflict, all of a sudden it became something to plaster all over the place, front and center. I blame Fox "News" and their ilk. "If it bleeds, it leads" mentality. Profits to be made. Everything in the service of profits.

Hi orda,

I know what you mean. Reap what they sow. I don't mind people disliking Wave. But it is downright nasty to target a young kid.

Standards of decency do not prevail. A set of fixed rules, which doubtless someone thinks are virtuous, allows the treatment of one human being (who is apparently the subject) like garbage, while it prevents another from pointing this out and shaming the person responsible for the exposure.

This is why I like the model on this board. I don't pretend to have a set of rules. But if a person is incapable of being reasonably courteous and reasonably decent, they don't get to post.
