The thought of Newt as nominee is quite delicious. The last Republican administration brought the US a financial catastrophe, torture and wars of choice. The next one proposes child labour, regressive taxation and the end of social safety nets.
Why don't Republicans move to Somalia where you can live in that kind of paradise? No government to speak of. So no regulations, no central bank, freedom from constraints. Plenty of guns there, as well. I imagine there's some good old-fashioned torture going on. And no UN involvement. What more could they wish for?
