Psalm 16: 11 says it all!
Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.
I was reading in my Bible and came across this remarkable passage of GOD'S WORD.
WHO is the Living WORD? None other than the Lord Jesus Christ!
So, Do you know why you find yourself after spending time reading the WORD feeling happy and a little joyous?
It is because you have been in the very presence of the LORD! He brings LOVE and JOY and HOPE and PEACE to ALL who are HIS and come to HIM by simple childlike FAITH.
Now I have scripture to tell me why I always feel glad when I read the precious WORD that HE gave us.
The WORD is ALL about HIM from Genesis through Revelation.
So, when you are feeling a little melancholy or sad, pick up the WORD of GOD and begin reading the WRITTEN WORD and be in the presence of your LORD and rejoice!
One day you will be spending an eternity with HIM.
Does not JOHN call Jesus THE WORD? Is not JESUS GOD?
"In the beginning was the WORD, and the WORD was with GOD, and the WORD WAS GOD! The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made . In him was life; and the life was the light of men."
