Another thought while I was out walking this morning.

Liverals, obama, and the OWS clowns all want to blame
'greedy bankers' for all our economic woes . . .

Yet, as I see it, greedy bankers are normal, and when
properly harnessed they do a country fair job in
helping grease the economic workings.

For example. If I wanted to buy a new car, such a
vehicle would either help me to keep my current job,
or, maybe, enable me to get a better one (because I
can then reliably commute). So, I go to the lot, and
I pick one out. The banker floats me a loan and
everybody is happy - the car maker cause I bought one,
Me cause I got a new ride, and the banker cause he is
going to make a little money. And what is wrong with
that?

Greedy Bankers? We got 'Usury Laws' - to curb the
more larcenous banking types. Throw in some
competition in the banking industry and the 'greedy
bankers' will be falling over each other to lend
honest folks like me money - giving me the best rates
in the process.

And for probably several hundred years that model has
worked fairly well helping to keep the economic wheels
running smoothly.

So, if not the greedy bankers, what happened to cause
the economic disaster of 2008?

To find the answer - ask why 'bankers' were floating
subprime mortgages so fast they couldn't keep up
with the paperwork.

Zim.
