I've taken the time to travel and meet with the company at wireless events around the globe....sometimes at their invitation....
speaking of which...some may be interested in visiting the company's booth (South 4 - 36537) at CES in January...if you have never been to the Consumer Electronics Show before ..... it's pretty amazing to see all the tech and products that the manufacturers will be coming out with in the new year and beyond....and it looks like the IDCC has made their booth a little bigger this year...
maybe they'll give a more detailed and public explanation of the video compression technology you're interested in?? Ask about the HEVC and Joint Collaborative Team on Video Coding (JCT-VC)... with the aim of getting the new standard ready for publication in 2012/2013. It's likely to be published jointly as a new MPEG standard and a new ITU-T standard, possibly H.265.

my pony died of old age waiting for the CAFC... my new pony will likely die waiting for you to admit Interdigital brings any value to the wireless industry. lol.
