the chart you showed has idc w/ nearly 600 declarations to lte as of 2010....i dont see where 800 as of 2011 would be a mistake...given idc's rate of declaring essential patents in the last few years

As was pointed out to me, the Sisvel illustration says LTE/SAE declarations while IDCC's chart lists UMTS+LTE.

So either Sisvel was liberal in their reporting, or IDCC has more than doubled their LTE declarations. If that is the case, it would be a strange coincidence the numbers both add up to almost exactly 800.
