clo,

re: "And I would tell her that."

I'm curious how you'd have backed that up.

Israel gets about 3.5 million visitors each year. How many of them do you think get murdered?

My hunch is that your friend's friend's baby is probably in far greater danger of catching some exotic influenza or cold in Israel and dying from THAT than of being murdered, blown-up, forced into involuntary servitude or whatever else it is that you're worried about. But such diseases can be caught at home these days, too, so Irael is effectively a non-issue.

Gold is $1,581/oz today. When it hits $2,000, it will be up 26.5%. Let's see how long that takes. - De 3/11/2013 - ANSWER: 7 Years, 5 Months

ribit,

Not me!

Years ago my dentist, a woman, was telling me her friend was taking her adopted baby to Israel for a visit.
This was when suicide bombers were occuring.
I told her IMO, that woman was putting that child in harms way! And I would tell her that. Its one thing to chose to go as an adult, but to take a child, its the parents responsibility to PROTECT the child!
