...there were plenty of jobs before gubmint rules and regs made it so that you practicall have to "adopt" someone and take responsibility for their entire family to get them hired. Healthcare wasn't as expensive before the govt started paying for it. The average family could afford to send their kids to college before the govt started funding that. Everything the govt takes an interest in has a dramatic increase in price and an corresponding decrease in quality. There are kids graduating from college today who could not pass the test I had to take to grad from high school.
