As an employer, I know and understand exactly why he feels that why.
I too would be leery of hiring new people in this poisoned time of socialist agenda where every employer is a "bad guy" and profit is a dirty word.
How do these idiots think people find jobs and taxes are actually paid?
Most folks are totally ignorant and oblivios to the fact that government produces not one red cent of its own.
It TAKES from those who get up out of bed and go to work every day, unlike the ows crowd certain people here love so much.
It costs an employer a lot more to hire someone today than it did 4 years ago.
I was forced a few weeks ago to hire more people because my business literally exploded all of a sudden and without reason. The industry I serve just took off suddenly and without explanation or forewarning. I had no choice although I tried for a few weeks to increase our output by 50% using the existing workforce to no avail. We kept falling farther behind and the hole kept getting deeper.
While I admire the man for standing up for his rights to run his company as he sees best, some of us have no choice presently.
But, yes, I believe he is a patriot and he is under no obligation to employ anybody if he chooses not to. Let everyone fend for themselves and make a living on their own abilities as they did in early days.
Somehow, I think most union people would starve to death as all they do is tell the ones who were creative, imaginative, and had enough savvy to go into debt with the prospects and self confidence that they could make a go of it, what they want, what their wages and benefits are going to be, etc...
They have NO skin in the game and couldn't make anything on their own.
Yet, the corporation, which started out as a single business owner, a single entrepreneur who had ambition enough to go for it, is the evil person according to these pinheads.
Ever get a job from a poor person?
These people are nothing short of walking ignoramuses and anarchists with nothing good on their minds at all.
I had a great idea though.
WHY don;t they all hop a jet with a one way ticket to a socialist country of their choosing and permanently stay there?
They get the climate they like and capitalism rolls on and is the envy of the rest of the nations!
I would even be in favor of spending the money needed to pay for the tickets for these low lifes.
