Sandusky Faces Two New Investigations
Pennsylvania Children and Youth Services has opened two new cases looking into alleged sex abuse by former Penn State coach Jerry Sandusky, according to The Harrisburg Patriot-News. Meanwhile, The New York Times profiles “Victim No. 1” from the Sandusky indictment. The boy was a long-distance runner who lived with his mother in public housing in Lock Haven, Pa. Sandusky lavished gifts upon him,
according to a neighbor: the boy began wearing designer clothes and one day showed up with a new set of golf clubs even though, by his own admission, he didn’t play golf.
