I watched him play at Ok St and it was just unfair how good he was at that level. In Detroit, some of his greatest runs were just to get back to the line of scrimmage. The first guy to approach him had no chance. I hated to see him retire early, but he was probably smart doing so. It is sad seeing Earl Campbell using crutches and wheelchairs.
