That makes no sense to me because that would inflate the institutional % for all companies. Is that just a guess?

Looks like Paulson owns 3M, not 6M. My educated guess is that Paulson & Co INC >>>> owns >>>>>>>Paulson Management LLC>>>>>>which holds>>>>>>>3M shares of IDCC.

So there are two Paulson entities that, for reporting purposes, each technically control 3M shares of IDCC, but it is the same 3M shares, one inside the other. Kinda sexy when you think about it.
