...that was a subterfuge. Ya wear white to support the coaches ya wear blue to support the victims. That way if there is a riot afterwards the bad guys will be out there in the dark wearing white. Easier for the cops to find em.
...I suspect the firings are not over. The guy who is the head coach now was an assistant. They say that his roots to penn state go back three decades. If they do then there is no way he didn't have some kind of knowledge that something wasn't right with Sandusky. At the end of the season there might be a thorough house cleaning.
