Let's face it: A nuclear attack on Israel from Iran would be devastating to the Mediterranean region.
In view of that, the United States has a tremendous interest in not allowing this to happen to anyone there. If I can't go back home because some Iranian ahole wants to replay Xerxes with all of us there, again, then I say we take 'em out, and hard, so they can never come back!
A nuclear attack on Israel is a most serious threat to every other country around the Mediterranean, and to cultures and people that have been there for millennia. It cannot happen.
