The trouble with the opposite view from liberals you cited
"choose to willfully ignore and dismiss his undeniable commission of a felony and instead lamely say it was just about a little bit of sex."
is that they do not apply that same rationale equally to the conservatives when they get in trouble.
They want their heads on a platter and drummed out of office asap, but when it is one of their own, they want to dismiss it with things like "what business is his/her sexual habits" to me? That is private life and we don't need to meddle there.
The double standard being applied is worse than obvious. It is genuinely hypocritical.
They say, "My politician can do that and its okay but yours cannot".
Well, the truth is, NONE OF THEM SHOULD be able to do it. They tend to think they are above the law and can do anything they want to without repercussion.
The hypocrisy has got to stop. What is good for the goose is also good for the gander.
