I agree, but the Republican are attempting to pander to the religious Right with this sort of crap, all with the notion that this will win them votes on election day.

so-called 'anti-bullying' law which is in the states legislature would exempt kids who pick on classmates due to 'values' given them by their parents. Basically, if your parents hate gays or immigrants or blacks, if you then use that as the argument why you beat-up a gay or immigrant or minority,

...that makes about as much sense as excusing somebody for beating their wife because their dad beat their mother. Somewhere along the line ya gotta draw the line and make folks responsible for their own actions.
