...everything is a bubble, even life itself. Sooner or later folks are going to realize that gold is nothing more than a shiney rock. It probaly won't be in our lifetimes, maybe not in the next thousand years, but sooner or later.....

I realize you only stated what you perceived as fact... but...

(1) By calling gold a bubble, you strongly implied that it would CONTINUE to "diminish." After all, a "burst" soap bubble does not... CAN NOT... reinflate. Yet this bubble didn't do what burst bubbles are supposed to do. It didn't continue "diminishing."

(2) And if I'm right about what you meant, you couldn't have timed it any worse. You virtually NAILED the bottom for gold with your statement. $1,617.20 doesn't even show up on a chart. All we can see is $1,620.


In retrospect, do you have any comment? Do you still believe that gold is trading like a bubble?
