Conrad Murray's flight risk status changed after his conviction because he now KNOWS he's going to jail.

As for his being a "danger to the community," that's ridiculous. He might be a danger to himself, but that's about it.

I found it interesting that during his trial, he was allowed free on bond, but now that he's been convicted, the judge has deemed him both a "flight risk" and a "danger to the community" and has remanded him to jail until his sentencing hearing on November 29th.

If he wasn't a flight risk or danger before, then why does the conviction change that? He still would have been out on bond, after all.
