After the conviction, the Judge handled the bail and release on OR question, citing the penal code sections that require a convicted felon to be remanded to custody, as well as his danger to the community, since he has been convicted, unanimously, of his total disregard for life, etc.. No questions from the defense at all. The Judge cited 6 separate reasons for denying bail, freedom to the creep. Likely transcripts are available if you are Google enabled....

I found it interesting that during his trial, he was allowed free on bond, but now that he's been convicted, the judge has deemed him both a "flight risk" and a "danger to the community" and has remanded him to jail until his sentencing hearing on November 29th.

If he wasn't a flight risk or danger before, then why does the conviction change that? He still would have been out on bond, after all.
