Hi Cactus Flower,

I don't consider right to life folks lunatics either.

When folks want to impose their far fetched beliefs on others, that's when their behavior is lunacy.
A few cells does NOT make a viable person.

This would also make in virto fertalization an issue.

Hi clo,

I don't count the right to life folks as lunatics simply because they believe what they believe. It's not like the definition of the beginning of life is a measurable phenomenon. You can have it be what you wish it to be depending upon your religion or whatever.

There are competing values in play here. Folks who don't want to compromise aren't susceptible to disproof in this case. It isn't like the intelligent design hypothesis which is obvious nonsense on stilts.
