Hi cat,

I guess I now realise you are just ranting. The hypothesis you have adopted suits your prejudices. Inflation appears or disappears to order. Same as how you have bankers facing your guillotine without recourse to law etc.

Okay. No point in discussing further. Blame as policy. Arbitrary punishment. Economics of a wet noodle. This isn't reasoned stuff. It's undirected venting born of frustration.

I understand that you don't know why you thought there would be inflation and therefore you don't understand why there isn't. But something is rotten in the state of Denmark so let's go kill all the bankers and it's all Obama's fault - or something. Got it.

[ps not meaning racial prejudices]

Hi Cactus:

That's what I am saying, among other things such as acts have consequences, there is no free lunch, and many forces are in play today. I suppose if Obama & Friends can find enough places to reward corruption and promote idleness and uselessness by squandering a few trillion more, the Bush/Obama Depression will return, demand will be crushed, and we will get little inflation.

Said another way, I am not against stimulating the economy. I am against squandering trillions to produce little of lasting value, and in fact promote corruption and inequity in America.
