Nov. 5th was "Bank Transfer Day".

==============================

People can join Tea Parties, sit in tents in downtown Manhattan beating on drums, attend all the Congressional town halls they want, flood newspapers with letters to the editors and kvetch on these here Internets until they wear out their keyboards trying to change the flawed structure of our financial system.

NOTHING will be more effective than simply voting with their feet and moving their accounts out of the TBTF banks. If the government won't enforce viable anti-trust thresholds, it is up to depositors to do it themselves one account at a time every time a small bank gets gobbled up by a goliath.

Until the big banks realize consumers have zero faith in these monsters and will "move the cheese" EVERY time a bank acquires small banks -- defeating the purpose of acquiring the bank -- nothing will change.
