I couldn't understand HOW Perry was reelected, until I spoke with friends in Texas. Jackie reminded me Perry won by 39%, the only reason he won, too many in the field.
He was re-elected in the 2006 gubernatorial election against three major opponents, polling 39% of votes against runner-up Chris Bell with 29.8%
