Sarkozy hails debt deal, but lowers French growth forecast
In a TV appearance on Thursday, French President
Nicolas Sarkozy said a eurozone deal reached earlier in Brussels prevented a "catastrophe" but announced that France would be lowering its growth forecast for next year from 1.75% to 1%.
