Howdie cactus, Just stopped in to read the thread. And yes folks and their truths/facts are in the eye of the beholder. The ones glued to their TV's taking in all the MSM wit, are just fine with the way things are, as they see them. God forbid they wake up. I enjoy reading your post!! Thumbs Up

Realist - Everybody in America is soft, and hates conflict. The cure for this, both in politics and social life, is the same -- hardihood. Give them raw truth.

Welcome to this board, stranger.

Here's what it looks like you are saying - in a charming wrapper: if the facts don't conform to the theory, presume the facts are unreliable, right. The folks who calculate inflation can't spot the difference between a pint and a quart.

Here's another way of unwrapping the product: you just admit to yourself that there's no inflation and the theory that there should be is junk. And the folks who said there will be no inflation and here are the reasons why and it happened as they said it would - hey, they may just have a point!

Maybe too much to ask for. No one will ever change their mind. It is human nature. Our politics are not plastic. Our observations are.
