I know that's an issue. And the wealthy few have tremendous power using traditional messaging techniques.
But there's still a ballot box. There's also an internet, so folks can communicate. People aren't entirely herdable.
Peaceful methods work better than violent ones within a lawful society. They just take time to concentrate.
Here we have a President who was voted into office and who might have done some useful things if the system was functional. If the Senate had simply restricted use of the filibuster, this would be a much different country.
