Good morning KTC,
True, we should always strive for improvement.
I even wear a sweater to bed & continue to hang the laundry outside until it gets too cold that it freezes.
I have a beaded pillow that is heated in the micro for about 3 minutes, it toasty, & useful while watching tv & warming the bed. Better than cranking up the OIL heat.
When I use the oven I try to cook several things, when done I leave the door open to utilize that heat.
Red states versus blue states. It was pleasing to see the rankings, but we can all do better with no hardship, maybe with a bit more hardiness and awareness. For instance, donning sweaters at home during the cold months, and driving energy efficient cars more sensibly (70 mph instead of 75 makes a difference).
