ribit, when I worked in California I was looking for 'normal' food and ordered bisquits and gravy in a cafe. The gravy was made with very old grease and was imposible to eat.

...there is a local restaurant that offers "42 different kinds of biscuits and gravy". At least that's what it says on the sign outside. Generates a lot of conversation when big city folks come to visit. They usually say somethin like "I thought all youseguys ate was grits!" We usually say something back like F-U.
