Republican Senator Lindsey Graham Supports Infrastructure Spending But Not For America, For Libya

Republicans have made it clear that they are staunchly against spending billions of dollars on rebuilding American infrastructure.
Republican Senator Lindsey Graham apparently wholeheartedly supports spending billions of taxpayer dollars to rebuild the infrastructure of Libya.
On Fox News, the GOP Senator stated that, “We can go over there and help them build their infrastructure up.”
Of course, Graham isn’t talking about schools and roads, which people need. He’s talking about putting American boots on the ground to take control of the oil fields.
“I’m glad it ended the way it did. If we would have kept American air power in the fight it would have been over quicker. Let’s get in on the ground. There is a lot of money to be made in the future in Libya. A lot of oil to be produced. Let’s get on the ground and help the Libyan people establish a democracy and a functioning economy based on free market principles. When it comes to weapons control. We need to get teams on the ground now that can assist this government to make sure that this stuff doesn’t fall into wrong hands. We don’t have much of a presence. There is an opening, get people on the ground.”
It’s downright jaw dropping to hear Republicans complain about spending money on infrastructure in America only to hear them call for spending hard earned American tax dollars on infrastructure in other nations. Of course Republicans don’t want to rebuild infrastructure here in the United States because it would create jobs and help President Obama. They have no interest in helping the masses of struggling Americans because they stupidly believe it will help them win the election and get the black man they hate so much out of the Oval Office. But the Republicans are once again proving how dimwitted they are. They can’t sit there and reject building American infrastructure and then be only too happy to build up other nations and not expect the American people to punish them for it. If they think that Americans are not listening to the utter crap that they’ve been spreading, they’ve got a real surprise in store for them on Election Day next year.
