Hi Cactus Flower,

That would be very difficult, Obama plans on having $1 BILLION for his campaign.

Oct 13, 2011
Who would donate to the Barack Obama reelection campaign now, when everyone hates politics and life and he's not even in a difficult primary or anything? Apparently plenty of people would! He raised $42.8 million during the third quarter for his campaign committee, and another $27.3 million for the national party.

McCain wanted the both of them to take government funding, which Obama originally said he would, but Obama changed his mind.
I resented him for that & thought it was a warning sign, for more backtracking to come. I was correct.

That said, he probably needed those funds to win. After the Reverend Wright debacle, I wondered if that might be ruin his chances.
The economy trumped, especially after McCain's statement that the economy was sound, or something close to that.

I would build my campaign around the need for the reform of election financing. I think there's a huge market for that message.
