I remember maniati, but don't remember if he was a friend or a foe. There was a guy there for awhile with the monicker "givearatsass" Haven't heard from him for a long time.

Ah, yes. I remember maniati! I wonder what ever became of him? My hunch, about the time I became fed up with RB and hopped over here, was that things weren't going well with him. He never brought up what the problem might have been (stress, medical ailments, substance abuse, something else?), and there was no polite way to ask.

You'll notice that his essay was built around a desire to attack... me, in this case. He ties it to my position on M3, but doesn't discuss it until the very end when he says:

So, what does this have to do with M3? Well, the better question is, what does M3 have to do with anything? Is the government ceasing the publication of M3 for some nefarious reason? Well, maybe, and maybe not. But, who cares?

That's it? Wow, what a brilliant refutation of me and my insistance that M3 used to matter. I view the post as one of the best indicators ever of how maniati the lawyer builds winning arguments out of thin air when he has absolutely no case.

Good lawyers can do that, and I've NEVER said maniati was less than a good lawyer.
