The only real problem with 9-9-9 is that it would not replace anything but be an add on. They could go with 18% on company sales and 9% on all types of pay but then the CEO's would be paid stocks and dividends and that would make them exempt. The 9% sales tax is a fee on anyone buying anything. But under the current system you can not only get by with out paying taxes but can get a refund on taxes you did not pay.
