clo,

re: "Decomp, HOW can you state the majority contribute nothing? That is FALSE!"

Would you be happier if I'd said "VIRTUALLY nothing"? "NEXT TO nothing"? "ALMOST nothing"? You choose.

If you deduct value received from value paid, you'll find that I was right in the first place. The majority are indeed contributing NOTHING. NADA. ZIP. LESS THAN ZIP. They're taking, not contributing.

And . . . they're BITTER about it.

"I don't wonder why. My point is that it isn't fair. And that it isn't healthy for the country because the rules are being made by a voting majority who contribute NOTHING."

Decomp, HOW can you state the majority contribute nothing? That is FALSE!
They pay taxes in MANY forms.
By the way, if the rules were made by the majority, things would be different, as you see the majority, 64% believe millionaires need to pay more.

Pay Up! Majority Of Americans Want More Taxes On The Rich
Written by Casey Gane-McCalla, Lead Blogger on October 4, 2011 10:30 am

A new CBS News poll shows that a majority of Americans want more taxes on rich people.

Sixty four percent of Americans want more taxes on people making more than a million dollars a year, while 30 percent want the taxes on the rich to stay the same.

The poll shows support for President Obama’s “Buffett Rule” named after the billionaire who also believes that the rich should be taxed more.
