Why do you think Citizens United was allowed...
Why do you think capital gains are only taxed 15%...

Ask an American how much the wealthy should pay. Their answer, "their fair share".

I don't wonder why. My point is that it isn't fair. And that it isn't healthy for the country because the rules are being made by a voting majority who contribute NOTHING.

The U.S. *has* to increase taxes on the teeming hoards who make up the middle and lower classes. Otherwise, these people will drain the very life from the minority who provide the jobs and wealth.

Ask a socialist how much the wealthy should pay. The only answer you'll ever get back is "more."
