I don't wonder why. My point is that it isn't fair. And that it isn't healthy for the country because the rules are being made by a voting majority who contribute NOTHING.

The U.S. *has* to increase taxes on the teeming hoards who make up the middle and lower classes. Otherwise, these people will drain the very life from the minority who provide the jobs and wealth.

Ask a socialist how much the wealthy should pay. The only answer you'll ever get back is "more."

I didn't read maniati's post as an attack on you, rather an attack on human conditions.
He clearly mapped out the necessity of those in power to keep many from true equality in order to keep their wealth.

As to your radio stats, 'income tax', is merely one tax. All Americans pay many other taxes.
You wonder why the top 20% pay the majority?
