Hi Cactus Flower,

Today I wondered if Herman was a republican plant.
He is such an anomaly it's shocking.
When asked by David Gregory, which Justice did he admire & if president, would he try to find the same type. His reply, Clarence Thomas...
What an insult, this on the 20th anniversary of the Anita Hill hearings.
At least Scalia has a bright mind, even if I don't agree with him.
Thomas is an insult to the Court.

Did you hear what Romney said should be done with the mortgage problems? In Nevada...
Let the foreclosures begin, don't stop it, flush the market out, allow 'investors' to buy them, rent them.
Remember, he stated, "corporations are people", well the Grinch is in town.
I wonder how he will deal with this tonight?

This is a tragic political circus!
Minnie Mouse & nearly 7 dwarfs.
We are on the brink, Rome is burning & we have these as our choices... oh my god

Wonder who will be least bad tonight.

I am beginning to like this guy Cain. I don't think he ever expected to win. He clearly hasn't a clue about anything to do with being a President. Never heard of the neocons. Laughable idea about taxes, but hey, he's a pizza guy. He doesn't expect to be President. Probably doesn't want to be. But he sings well and wants to sell books and plans to become a better known talk radio show host. And hey, this is a great way to get free publicity.

And so the GOP's nomination process has come to mimic their philosophy. Making money any which way is all that really matters: even the solemn choice of their candidate to lead the Republic has been turned into a dog and pony show with which to try to make a buck or two.

It's kinda funny. Herman surely knows that he doesn't get to make jokes; he himself is the joke - the joke incarnate. His place in the contest is the very manifestation of humour. It tells you all you need to know about the contest.
