The Homestead Act gave Americans title to rural land once they'd inhabited it for 5 years. But it also gave them the right to buy the land for $1.50 an acre after just 6 months.

So, instead 2 acres of land, I propose we give your welfare recipients $3.00. That way, they can buy land of their choosing instead of being saddled with these inferior lots in Maine and New Hampshire.

Gold is $1,581/oz today. When it hits $2,000, it will be up 26.5%. Let's see how long that takes. - De 3/11/2013 - ANSWER: 7 Years, 5 Months

decomp ...the reason the poor don't have any land is cause these two guys have it all. We should redistribute the land. Maybe two acre lots. Put deeds in with welfare checks.
