Apparently the Olive Garden in Oxford, Alabama, refused the request of the local Kiwanis Club to fly the American flag during one of their meetings in their dining room. The Orlando-based parent company Darden industries made a statement that included this quote: ""To be fair to everyone and avoid disrupting the dining experience for all other guests, they're unable to accommodate flags or banners of any type in the dining room," according to the statement.
