Realist - Everybody in America is soft, and hates conflict. The cure for this, both in politics and social life, is the same -- hardihood. Give them raw truth.

Nemo,

A few years ago, Warren Buffett paid himself a salary of $40 million while his stock holdings in that year rose $10 billion.

Is it any wonder then that he's okay with increasing the ordinary income tax rate? He hardly has any ordinary income. He wouldn't care if the tax was 100%.

The truly rich make their money from capital gains - which are taxed at 15 percent when they're realized. You'll note that NOBODY is talking about changing that.

Those working themselves into a lather over the need to 'tax the rich' are nothing more than sheep, following the will of their masters.
