Hi orda,
Well, that's why we have this board. So people can have different opinions and still have respect for each other.
I get along pretty well with awk, and he has come up with an impressive hypothesis. It may indeed be right. When you come up with ideas for yourself, I think you feel differently about them. You are willing to have them tested. You have the confidence from having seen the problem and come up with a solution. You can feel your way to answers.
But disciples often tend to behave as enforcers, in the same way that the second wolf in a wolf pack often aggressively enforces the lead wolf's rule.
And then there's also what I call the "run-to-Lark" phenomenon, in which people who haven't much to offer for themselves waste the time of Wave's senior employees to get answers to questions they themselves cannot answer on iHub. You can always tell when there's a pregnant pause and then the voice changes.
Whilst I wish folks wouldn't waste their time, I enjoy the inputs of Wave's senior management.
