I gave up on big banks over a year ago. I deal with a small local one now, and like their thoughts on this eCONomy........

Interesting how Goldman Sachs has managed to vanish from the picture, isn't it? We all know it's still out there, but where??

These days, I do most of my banking with a small Virginia bank. I've never liked banks that consider themselves more important than their customers, and I still don't understand why so many people put up with the fees big banks charge. At this point, it hardly matters. In a few years, I won't bank at all. I've lost my confidence in fiat money and am doing my best to spend everything I earn today in favor of things items that, unlike dollars, actually HOLD their value.

In varying quantities, my future "banking" will graduate toward Guns, Ammo, Precious Metal, Farmable land, Liquor, Food, Clothes, Fertilizer, Fuel, Equipment, Tools, Animals and Art. I feel for those who haven't yet begun doing likewise.
