...when I leave the house, I carry my wallet and my keys. My wallet has my id in it. I don't leave home without it and coincidentally there is a photostat of my birth certificate along with my concealed carry permit.

...I can understand that you might not have all those things with you when you go out. Mighta left em in "the other purse".

I carry my passport in my briefcase and when I'm outside the country, I carry it on my person. But if I was having dinner in Huntsville (we have an R&D office there) and the place got raided because some busboy was selling pot out the back door, are you saying that I should have had it in my jacket pocket? Do you carry your passport (if you've ever had one) on you whenever you run down to the 7-11 for a six-pack? Or do you carry a certified copy of your long form (if Obama had to produce his you should have to do the same ;-) birth certificate in your wallet?
