You're a liar, KTC ... and a bad one at that:

1. First of all, it wasn't Fox News ... it was a private station affiliated with Fox Television that fought the case.

2. The court found that the station did not bow to pressure from Monsanto to alter the news report.

3. The court never found once that the station distorted the news or even attempted to do so. It only discussed "distortion" as an allegation in its ultimate finding that no whistle-blower law was ever broken.

4. The station did not say that it distorted or falsified the news or supported the right to do so. The court simply found that the FCC "news distortion" policy does not rise to the level of a "law, rule, or regulation" under the whistle-blower statutes.

So, in summary, this wasn't even Fox News and no one went to court to "defend their right to lie and distort the news." That's just total, unadulterated bullshit from Fox-hating idiots who don't know how to read. Wow, KTC ... you really need to try reading for yourself every once in awhile instead of just regurgitating the lies you eagerly scarf up from your leftist propaganda masters.

Cheers!

B.

Hi DG:

Beldin and the dopey author of his piece are as oblivious as you. Both totally missed the point of my contention. The author butchered the case beyond recognition.

Nobody claimed that Faux Nooz was found guilty. The contention was that Faux went to court to defend their right to lie and distort the news. Faux Won! And they've been distorting the news ever since.
