I think this is Merritt saying that we have a plan B to the potential bidders so pay up. I am guessing that we may see more added soon. IMO we will see a stated rate ala qcom for LTE in the event no deal is done. This is the worst case scenario for the current bidders which is why we will see a deal get done.

I will always remember the market action the Friday before the announcement of the original LG deal. Something was definitely up.

The Koreans always seem to leak information out like I believe Samsung did back in July or August regarding the Max they would pay would be $5B.

My guess the leak of $1-2B reported by dealreporter came out of Korea too.

This 8K maybe a little hardball from IDCC.
