While I understand that one's location will change the definition of "rich" in the eyes of the general public, it should make NO difference in terms of taxes. Hell, the IRS doesn't base your tax rate on your zip code, after all. If it did, I'd move to Andover, MA in a hot minute.

Define a place.

In gener,al a couple with two kids living in a non metro area and making up to 250000-300000 are upper middle class.
